Bach als solemn center of gravity of the festival forms the bridge to the romantic miniature of the Prelude, the Etude and the Esquisse (sketch) to the first concert (11.06.2021, 07:00 p.m.) and functions as well as the link to the final third concert (13.06.2021,

5 p.m.) leading to a music of new avant-garde having its roots in Iranian classical music and which at first glimpse seems to be from a completely different time and culture.

In accordance with the motto of this festival - music unites - finally all stiles, genres and artists meet themselves via the universal bridge of Bach's music and show a new perspective through world music.

The journey of the first concert through all 24 keys of European major and minor tonality finds its solemn root and center of this (time) journey in this central second concert: 

The Well-Tempered Clavier by Johann Sebastian Bach which is rediscovered in its entity as "restart of culture". Music which again and again reveals new facets throughout the centuries and makes hidden secrets becoming visible. Only a few pianists worldwide are capable to perform this work wandering through all 24 major and minor keys and which is also called as the "Old Testament" of European music history in its entity. With Schaghajegh Nosrati a world-class pianist and distinguished Bach expert is our guest who already gave her debut in Freiburg in July 2020 after a long Corona caused silence with the Goldberg Variations by Bach as first attempt of culture restart. 

Tickets for this wonderful matinee concert taking place on Sunday, 13th June 2021 at 11 a.m. (admission from 10:15 a.m.)  or for all 3 concerts of the festival can be purchased via online ticket shop below or alternatively at the box office. The number of seats is limited to 100 due to current restrictions (as of May 14th 2021).

Therefore an online-purchase is highly recommended in order to ensure a seat.

In accordance with the current Corona regulation of the State Baden-Württemberg admission to the concerts is permitted with a up-to-date (= within the last 24 hours) negative SARS-COV2 test certificate, a vaccination certificate or a certificate of revocery. Furthermore tests will be offered on site in front of the concert hall up to a limited number (6 per concert).
